Food Assistance - Food Mobile

Eastern IL Foodbank distributes food at the parking lot south of the post office in Beaverville from 12:30-1:00pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Utility Bill Assistance

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and( LIHWAP) helps eligible low-income households pay for home energy services. This includes assistance with heating gas, propane and electricity.  Emergency services to reconnect families disconnected from their power sources, and emergency furnace repair or replacement to homeowners with low income who have inoperable furnaces.

East Central IL Community Action Agency

Community Services Block Grant Program (CSBG) provides a variety of services, including but not limited to:  Assistance with Rental/Mortgage, Food, Water/Sewer Payment, Employment Training/Placement, Financial Mgmnt., and Temporary Shelter. Seniors

Volunteer Services of Iroquois County provides provides Information, Assistance, Advocacy and Support to Seniors (60+) and Disabled Adults with local, state, federal government and private programs. Home Weatherization

The IL Home Weatherization Assistance Program (IHWAP) helps low income residents and households conserve fuel and reduce energy costs by making their homes more energy efficient. Weatherization services that can be funded through IHWAP include: Air sealing, Attic and wall insulation, HVAC repair or replacement, Electric base load reduction (Lighting and refrigerator replacement), Ventilation and moisture control measures (and other health & safety measures).
